Michael Trigg was born in Auckland NZ, in 1943. He began a career in the automotive business in 1960 and after completing his apprenticeship, traveled around Australia and New Guinea. After a brief stint back in his home country he arrived in Vancouver from New Zealand in 1969 and worked in management capacities primarily in the automotive business, traveling extensively around Canada and the United States.

In 1970, he completed a course in radio broadcasting and returned to New Zealand to work as disc jockey. He returned to Canada in 1972 where he established his own automotive business that he sold in 1989.

During the 90’s, Michael worked in a number of financial areas including television, investor relations and financing. He obtained his Accident and Illness insurance agent license in 1997 and his full Life License in 1999. He has operated his own agency from a home office since becoming an independent agent in 1999.

Michael is married with three adult children.
